In collaboration with Dizzy Ink, we put on an exhibition and party to launch Issue Four. It was incredibly busy and such a good time! I wish I documented it more, but I was having too much of a good time!
MOAN ZINE X MY BODY MY FUCKING RULES
As women, our bodies have always been a battlefield. Our rights have always sat on very thin ice. They can be taken away and destroyed at any point. So for anyone saying that we have found our equality, you are wrong. On the surface it may seem that things are progressing with a sense of equality, but it reality, our rights as women are still held in the hands of men.
Abortion is a woman’s right. Not a legal debate or a privilige.
Motherhood should never be forced upon a woman, no matter the situation.
In collaboration with Dizzy Ink, we released My Body My Fucking Rules and raised $600 for Lilith Fund, a Texas based charity who provide financial assistance and emotional support for women needing abortions.
